Privacy Policy
Effective July 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Alien Planet Games (“we,” “us,” or “our”), based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, collects when you use NFTD, how we use it, and who we share it with. This policy is governed by applicable Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What We Collect
When you use NFTD, we may collect: your Discord profile information (username, avatar, and Discord user ID) via OAuth login; any crypto wallet addresses you choose to link to your account; records of purchases (charge packs and other paid items); and gameplay data and telemetry (match results, scores, and related diagnostic data) needed to run ranked matches and the leaderboard. A linked wallet address, and the public on-chain holdings we scan via Alchemy, are used solely to detect supported NFTs for cosmetic unlocks. We do not use wallet data to profile you, track transactions, or for any advertising purpose.
How We Use It
We use this information to operate your account, authenticate you into the game, grant NFT-linked tower unlocks, process purchases and grant charges, run ranked matches and the weekly leaderboard, and diagnose and fix bugs. We do not sell your personal information.
Third Parties / Sub-Processors
We rely on the following service providers to operate NFTD. Each only receives the information it needs to perform its function:
- Supabase — database and authentication storage.
- Stripe — payment processing for charge pack purchases.
- Discord — login and identity via OAuth.
- Alchemy — read-only scans of linked wallets to detect supported NFTs.
- Vercel — application hosting.
Where Your Data Is Processed
Some of our service providers (including Stripe, Vercel, and Supabase) store and process data on servers located in the United States. When your personal information is stored or processed outside Canada, it is subject to the laws of that jurisdiction, and may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, and government authorities there. By using NFTD you acknowledge this transfer. We use providers that offer contractual and technical safeguards comparable to those required under Canadian law.
Payment Data
All payment processing is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe returns us only a confirmation that payment succeeded and which charge pack you purchased.
How We Protect Your Data
We protect personal information with security safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity, including encryption in transit, access controls, and reliance on providers (Supabase, Stripe, Vercel) that maintain industry-standard security. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Cookies / Session
We use cookies only for authentication — to keep you signed in between visits. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Data Retention
We retain account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable time, except where we are required to retain records (for example, purchase records for tax or fraud-prevention purposes).
Your Rights
Under PIPEDA and other applicable Canadian privacy law, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to request its correction or deletion. To make a request, email support@nftd.gg.
You may withdraw your consent to our collection and use of your personal information at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice, by deleting your account or contacting us; withdrawal may prevent you from using parts of NFTD. We will respond to access or correction requests within 30 days as required by PIPEDA.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal information or a privacy request, you may file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (www.priv.gc.ca, 1-800-282-1376).
Children’s Data
NFTD is not intended for or directed to children, and children may not use NFTD or create an account. We do not want or knowingly collect, use, or store personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child, we will delete it promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@nftd.gg and we will remove it.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Effective” date above.
